Control & Management of Aerospace Simulators

A hardware/software solution tailored to manage and control aerospace simulators.
Based on multiple technological layers (PLC/SAFE-PLC/IPC), this system manages multiple automation devices (handling systems, safety devices, …) to ensure the maximum safety and simulation quality. 
The solution can be integrated with external simulation software.
The operators interact with the system using multiple GUIs and devices. Different sensors recognize operators’ presence and automatically manages safety and manual operations. The solution is integrated with an internal PDA module (developed by Microtecna) to guarantee fully traceability of the production process and perform condition monitoring on each machine.

Based on multiple technological layers (PLC/SAFE-PLC/IPC), this system manages multiple automation devices and sensors to guarantee the maximum test performances and quality. The operators interact with the system using multiple GUIs. The system stores all the process-data on an internal scalable database. The solution is integrated with an internal PDA module (developed by Microtecna) to guarantee full traceability of the test process and perform condition monitoring on each machine. The solution can be integrated with external MES systems.

Heavy Duty AGVs

Using the powerful Microtecna’s MLP Platform, we are able to create automated guided vehicles tailored to transport heavy and delicate masses like aeronautical frames. These AGVs have omni-directional capabilities and can operate safely with people around them. Our Natural Navigation System allows simple plant deployments with minimum impact on the industrial environment where it will be used. The system is controlled by a single Control Station that automatically manages process flows, missions, traffic issues and ERP integration. The plant can be integrated with built-in control system that manages the production lines using additional PLCs provided by Microtecna. The system can be integrated with external MESs and ERPs.

Heli UAV Control and Navigation System

An Optimal Control and Extended Kalman Filtering embedded solution for helicopter unmanned aerial vehicles.

Entirely based on power-pc architecture this system integrate sensor fusion technologies using IMU, GPS, sonar and 3D magnetometer in order to guarantee the maximum observational performances.

The system is able to communicate with ground-based control stations using long-range network devices.
